The July 2020 Austin Housing Market Statistics confirm that we are in a seller’s market. Although there were increases in the number of new listings, there were also increases in the number of pending transactions – which means the number of available homes for sale decreased.
In Williamson county, that decrease was 39%. All of this points to higher buyer demand which creates more buyer competition, and this has a tendency to drive prices higher.
