There are pros and cons to living in Manor Texas. It is close to downtown Austin and home prices are much lower than inside the city limits, but it is under-developed and property taxes are higher than most of the northern suburbs.

The Manor ISD does not rank as high as Round Rock or Leader, but it is smaller and is improving. Manor’s crime rate is higher than Pflugerville, Round Rock and Leander, but lower than the city of Austin.
