Austin Housing Market Update – October 2020

The Austin housing market showed continued growth in October 2020. Total transactions increased 29%, median price increased 13% and the average days on market decreased by 19 days.

In a balanced market, there is 6-7 months of available inventory, but in Austin there is just over one month of inventory. In Williamson county, the inventory is at 0.7 months.
