West of downtown Austin, Loop 360 (the Capital of Texas Highway,) is one of the only ways to cross the Colorado River. This 360 Bridge is named the Pennybacker Bridge. It spans 1,150 feet, but no part of it touches the water below.

There are two lanes in both directions for motor vehicles and a six-foot wide pedestrian/bike lane. The Pennybacker Bridge Overlook is a must-see attraction.
